1) Budget Request by 27th. Prereq is perpetual charter. For charter, must raise $100.
a) Dues- $10 each. Due by 23rd, turn in to Andrew or Brian.
b) Bake sale- Nick is contacting potential donors of coffee and food. Brian is applying for space in White Hall next week. Andrew is burning cc music to disribute.
c) Shirts- Brian will contact vendors about their rates. Design ideas?
2) Hub filesharing article is dead. Emory’s music licensing committee is stalled. Q: Which of these directions should EFC pursue first? A: DRM. The current plan is to contact varius parts of the university that might deal with DRM as well as design a student survey about it. More discussion to follow.
3) CampusMovieFest- We missed our opportunity this year, but Andrew will resume contact. Our dream goal: Promotion of cc material (like here) and cc-licensing as an option for the movies produced.
4) FC.org is having a conference at Swathmore Easter weekend. Brian and Andrew are interested, anyone else want to go? We’ll request SGA funding once we’re chartered.
5) CC has info up about legal, tech, and media internships this summer.
